High-Refractive-Index (~1.7) Polyimide & Monomer
Polyimide is a promising material for optical device applications among the high-n polymers due to their good thermal and physical properties, low dielectric constant, high inherent refractive index, and excellent mechanical properties. The Table summarizes the sulfur-containing PIs with high-n values (1.680~1.769) and low birefringence (0.0048~0.0203).
